What is Linux?

Some Useful Commands:
If you don't plan on learning all of linux cli commands, here are a few that will keep your boat afloat.
 1. The default username and password is 'root' and 'toor'.
 2. Type 'poweroff' in the terminal to shutdown.
 3. apt-get command can be used to install tools and updates.
 4. apt-get update and apt-get upgrade will update all the programs installed on your machine.
 5. apt-get dist-upgrade will install the latest distribution of Kali(i.e. it upgrades your OS).

PS : Tapping <tab> while typing makes Kali complete the word for you . Double tapping <tab> makes it display all possible words starting with the incomplete word. Ctrl+c stops the functioning of any tool that is running. Pressing the up arrow key shows the command you last typed.

INSTALLING  KALI  LINUX  INTO  VIRTUALBOX:

Step: 1

• Download kali LINUX From The given link.
• Download VM VIRTULBox And  Complete the Installation.

Step:2

• Open The VM Box And  CLICK  On "NEW" .
• Fill The First Text Box by writing OS name "kali Linux".
• In second Select the Type "LINUX".
• Then Third  Version "Debian (64-bit)".
• Now CLICK   ON  "NEXT".

Step:3 

• There You have to allocate the RAM For the OS. Allocate more then 1024mb(1gb).
• Now CLICK  On  "NEXT".

Step:4

• Check On the "Create the virtual Hard Disk".
• CLICK  On "Create".

Step:5

• Check On the "VDI (virtualBox Disk Image)".
• CLICK  On  "NEXT".
• Now Check On the "Dynamically allocated".
• CLICK  On "NEXT".

Step:6

• Click On the Right Side Folder Button And Select the location Where you want to save the kali Linuk.
• Now allocate the size of hard Disk minimum 20GB.
• CLICK  On  "CREATE".

Step:7

• Now You Will See that OS machine is setup.
• RIGHT CLICK  On  "Kali Linux". 
• Select "SETTING". 
• Chose "GENERAL". in General CLICK  On "ADVANCE".
• Now In Both Drop Down List select "Bidrectional".

Step:8

• Now Chose The "SYSTEM".
• Uncheck The "Floppy" And Check The "Network".

Step:9

• Chose The "STORAGE".
• CLICK  On  "EMPTY" . Now Click  On the Disk icon present at the Right Side.
• Then Select  the location Where Your Downloaded Kali Linux is Present. 

Step:10

• Chose The "NETWORK".
• Select the "Bridged  Adapter" From the Drop Down List.
• In Name select Your Connected Adapter.
• In "ADVANCE" select the Drop Down of the "promiscuous Mode".
• In promiscuous Mode Select "Allow VMS".
• CLICK  On  "OK".

Step:10

• FOR Start Booting "Double Click" on "KALI  LINUX".

     After booting the kali Linux.

1> Select graphical install... (wait for some time) 
2> Chose the language which you want. (select "English")    <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
3> Select your country.    << CLICK "CONTINUE">>
4> In key map select your recommended language. ("American English")    <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
     >The Installation is started now it take a minute.
5> Chose any one of the addepter.   <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
       >It will configure the network.
6> Type HOST name which you like. ("kali")   <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
7> Domain name "Linux".    <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
8> Set your password. ("toor")
      type same pasword in the Re-enter password. ("toor")     <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
9> In partition disk select "guided - use entire disk".     <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
10> Again    <<CLICK "CONTINU">>
11> Chose "seprate /home partition".     <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
12> Allready "finish partitioning and write changes to disk" Selected.    <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
13> In 'write the changes to disks?' checked "yes".    <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
       > Now the installetion of system will begin.( I will take some Time).
14> In 'Use a network mirror' Checked "No".    <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
       > Configure the package manager will install now.(It will take 2-3 minutes)
       > GRUB boot Loader will install.
15> IN  'Install the GRUB boot loader to the master boot recorder?' checked "yes".   <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
16> Select "/dev/sda (ata-vbox_harddisk_vbea763e66-ef2fa737)".       <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
       > Finishing Installation Will run now.
17> In 'finish the insallation' (There is nothing to select so simple).      <<CLICK "CONTINUE">>
       >Dont press any button kali Linux will boot Automaticaly.
18> It Ask for the 'UserName:' (By Defult it Will be "root").     <<CLICK "NEXT">>
19> Then Put the Password which you had set before.(I set "toor" as my password)               <<CLICK "Sign In">>
